I skeptically tried a pastrami sandwich today. They usually don't hit like they do back in Chicago were I am from. This sandwich was absolutely cooked to perfection!!!
food was great! the service was amazing and the owner is very kind and passionate about his business :) he gave us a soup sample and i usually don't like beans but this was delicious! he said the pastrami is "like no other pastrami you've had before" and he was right, it was super flavorful and insanely good. mac salad was good and he served yellow watermelon with the fresh fruit!! (sweeter and more $$ than red) we're planning to come back soon :)
its always a pleasure coming to this sandwich shop after a good hike. this particular time i got a turkey sandwich and my boyfriend a pastrami. the pastrami is a classic here and one of the best. the turkey was great but my all
time favorite is there chicken salad sandwich on squaw bread!!!!! trust me you'll love it. the owners are super friendly, always making sure you have water and always sparking a conversation. it's a very small shop with no indoor seating, but they have outdoor seating with shade.
It is always a treat to eat at the upper crust in downtown Riverside. Service is always friendly, and the food always tastes fresh.
Homemade pasta salad and potato salad are my favorite side orders.
WOW. I've been wanting to try this place out for awhile and finally got the chance. First off, the owner is sooo kind. Extremely welcoming and good energy. The vibe is adorable. Exceeded my expectations. There's indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to sit in this cute little half booth facing the window. They have a bunch of old fashioned sodas that I've never seen before. We ordered the BLT and the pastrami. Woooowww. Honestly one of the best pastrami sandwiches I've ever had. The bread tasted super fresh and all the toppings were delicious. This place is so cute and the food is amazing. I will 100% be back and definitely recommend it.
Super awesome place. I only came in to buy 3 water bottles for myself, my wife, and our dog. They brought out a dog bowl for our pup. Super friendly, low prices, great music (Taylor Swift)
One of the best places to grab lunch in Downtown Riverside, if not the best. For having such a variety of soups and sides, they do them all very well. Bread always tastes fresh, and they load up the ingredients. The owner is also very nice, and sitting on the patio makes for a good afternoon.
